Molbio Diagnostics is set to announce its IPO allotment today, with the grey market premium (GMP) indicating a 20% listing gain. The IPO, which opened on August 10 and closed on August 12, was oversubscribed 70.26 times, driven by strong demand from qualified institutional buyers (QIBs).

The Rs 939.70-crore IPO included a fresh issue of 25 lakh shares worth Rs 200 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 92 lakh shares worth Rs 739.70 crore. The price band was set at Rs 768–Rs 807 per share. Molbio Diagnostics raised Rs 281.5 crore from anchor investors prior to the IPO, issuing 34.87 lakh shares at Rs 807 per share.

Kotak Mahindra Capital Company is the book-running lead manager for the issue, while KFin Technologies Ltd. is the registrar. Investors can check their allotment status on the registrar's website or the NSE IPO allotment page.

The grey market premium for Molbio Diagnostics is around Rs 154 per share, suggesting a potential listing price of Rs 961 per share. However, investors should note that GMP is an unofficial indicator and may not reflect actual listing gains.

Molbio Diagnostics plans to use the IPO proceeds to expand its infrastructure and enhance research and manufacturing capabilities. Approximately Rs 125.12 crore will be invested in developing a research and development facility, while Rs 80.81 crore will be allocated for purchasing equipment for manufacturing facilities in Goa and Visakhapatnam.
