The company's total income during the January-March period decreased to Rs 4,154.34 crore, compared to Rs 4,268.05 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year. Meanwhile, expenses rose to Rs 5,419.87 crore from Rs 4,827.97 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY25.

A significant contributor to the increased expenses was the cost of power purchased, which surged to Rs 3,285.68 crore from Rs 2,739.62 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. For the entire fiscal year 2026, RInfra's net profit fell to Rs 2,900.23 crore from Rs 4,937.52 crore in FY25.

Annual income also saw a decline, dropping to Rs 20,862.03 crore in FY26 from Rs 23,999.29 crore in the preceding fiscal year. Alongside the leadership change, the company has appointed Asheesh Chaturvedi as the new Chief Financial Officer.
